 2007 / 2008 RAFFLE
AUGUST 15th '08 IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO ENTER!...
The drawing takes place in Libby MT, September 1st '08. It is our most significant fundraising undertaking yet, as you might guess from our home page! The significant gifts, labor and associated advertising being offered by these very generous companies is indeed heartwarming. They, in turn, are greatly encouraged by your participation!
The REAL WINNERS of this raffle (and all donations) are our combat-injured veterans. Whether you or a friend would personally benefit from a log home, hunting expedition, canoe package, or not, your contribution in any manner will increase our ability to serve more veterans! Together we can truly delight the souls of our veterans for the personal sacrifices they have made.
 TAILGATE PARTIES:
The Tri-Cities WA area has a very enthusiastic "Fever Football" support group headed by
Mr Randy Schillinger. "Fever Football" is also enthusiastically supporting Camp Patriot!
Randy, Brian Howald of Sportsman's Warehouse, Kennewick WA, and Camp Patriot are working together to provide Tailgate parties for every Tri-Cities home football game. Sportsman's Warehouse and "vendor friends" are providing all the food on a donation basis - with all proceeds being given to Camp Patriot!
Randy sends out a mass email like the following prior to each home game:
"Hello Fever Fans!
You're all invited (and encouraged) to attend Camp Patriot's Tailgate Party before the big game against Spokane this Sunday. We are very passionate about this great cause, "Giving Back To Those Who Have Given."
Micah Clark, Founder and Executive Director of Camp Patriot will be there with Sportsman's Warehouse cooking up a great BBQ for you all to enjoy. We will have prize giveaways, games, lots of food and fun, and music courtesy of The Dance Machine! Spokane Shock Fans are also invited, so make sure you're all there! Bring the whole family, we want to make this a really big event.
All proceeds go to Camp Patriot; be generous. These people are going to a lot of work to make this a big hit with our fans; we want this to be an added dimension of entertainment for you all as well as allowing you to make a difference in the lives of our wounded veterans. Come on down early for lunch and fun and support Camp Patriot!

Special thanks to Ray's Meats in Yakima for their generous donation of all the meats, Red Door Party Rental for their donation of the heaters for the last tailgate party which was COLD!, and to Sportsman's Warehouse for going all-out to make this really great!
Applebees on Columbia Center Blvd is offering Fever Fans 10% off food and drinks the day of the game and Jack-Sons in Richland is hosting the After-Game Party.

GRASSROOTS CREATIVITY
There is a 10 station barbershop outside the gates of Cherry Point Marine base in Havelock NC. They also serve customers from Camp LeJune, Jacksonville NC, about 45 minutes away. The owners, Lerah Parker and daughter Tina Matson, had a Camp Patriot banner made at their own expense to "tell their world" about Camp Patriot's mission and support us with their enthusiastic skills and ingenuity. "Go Grassroots!"
 FUNDRAISING CHALLENGES
Marketing is a challenge to even the most experienced. When it comes to raffles, many states have some kind of restrictions. Montana law allows people to either mail or personally hand their purchase to us. But proceeds from the raffle sales cannot be used to support the raffle. We are therefore very dependent on "non-raffle donors" to pay for our administrative expenses.
As you proceed thru the "raffle ticket purchase" on our web site, you will have opportunity to select your state and learn any restrictions that may apply. Regardless, by a "click of the mouse" you are able to print the raffle entry form and mail it in if desired, or use the PayPal form to simply give a donation (no membership required).
