Welcome to the Camp Patriot web site! We appreciate your taking a moment out of your busy schedule to see what Camp Patriot is all about and what we are accomplishing for our disabled Veterans. To review our trips just click on the Photo Gallery. The trips are arranged from the most recent to our first trip back in 2006. This has been an exciting year! We ended our Raffle, which lasted almost a year, with many thanks to Pioneer Log Homes of British Columbia, Jim Shockey Hunting Adventures, The R&K Hunting Company and Sportsman's Warehouse for their donations and support of Camp Patriot. We have had a busy summer and even busier fall. From fly fishing in Montana, moose hunting in Bangor Maine to elk hunting in Idaho with our new Camp Patriot spokesman (Ryan Job), a blind Navy SEAL. It has been jam-packed excitement. Many new projects are being set in motion. This last summer we were approached by a friend who wanted to donate his ranch to us. Eighty acres are being deeded over to us now and the remainder of the 3,220 acres will be left to Camp Patriot in a will. We are very excited about the possibilities of usage on this land and would eventually like to build a smaller facility to hunt pheasant and provide horseback riding! Kind of a "Cowboy Ranch" experience! Last month I was called by a friend who wanted to give me something over lunch. He had just finished shutting down the sky diving drop zone he and his partner had run for many years. So, I thought he might be donating some parachutes to Camp Patriot! Over lunch Camp Patriot became the proud owner of an airplane - a 1957 Twin Beechcraft Bonanza!!! I was shocked but very thankful for such an amazing gift!
So, as I was saying we have had an amazing summer and Fall. These gifts are great but I have to mention - we have no funding to operate any of these assets yet! Please tell all you know what we are doing for our disabled Veterans and help us raise some funding to get these operations under way. Many thanks to all of you who have participated in one way or another with Camp Patriot. There is no contribution too small! You have all become the reason this project is succeeding and affecting the lives of our brave men & women serving our great nation. As we move into the holiday season, please take a moment to say "Thank You!" to a Veteran, and give a prayer of thanks to our Heavenly Father who has blessed us so richly! Take Care & God Bless!
